A Woman's Place (AWP) hotline 1-800-220-8116, is available to anyone 24-hours a day.
The hotline is free, private, and confidential. 

Day of Service

A Woman’s Place welcomes the generosity of the community in many ways. A Day of Service provide groups (community and corporate) an opportunity to give back to the community and enhance the work of A Woman’s Place by performing a negotiated task for AWP.

Examples of how groups have helped A Woman’s Place through A Day of Service are:

  • Painting
  • Cleaning
  • Organizing Pantries
  • Gardening
  • Decorating for the Holidays
  • Assembling holiday boxes
  • Processing and storing donations

Community Service

If you are required to provide community service hours (exclusive of certain infractions), A Woman’s Place can help you. By fulfilling your community service hours here, you are making a difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence.

Examples of tasks that Community Service volunteers have completed for A Woman’s Place are:

  • Cleaning
  • Filing and other administrative duties
  • Processing and storing donations
  • Working at In Full Swing
